Ong Ong Buns is an Asian bakery masterminded by the husband-and-wife duo: Icy and Aaron Mo. Together, they craft delectable savoury milk buns generously stuffed with succulent char siu pork, halal chicken curry, or jackfruit and kimchi, extending the joy of their brioche-like buns to London's diverse populace.
Ong Ong Buns proudly carries the namesake of their cat, who directly influenced the bakery's branding, infusing it with a sense of warmth and coziness that resonates throughout their offerings.
For the opening of their new concession stand in Westfield Stratford, I took charge of enhancing their existing logo. I combined it with vibrant colours, patterns, and intuitive layouts, while also introducing fresh illustrations to adorn their new stand.
